Emptied today: Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Nourishing Milk

Bobbi Brown’s Instagram page is off-limits unless you want to end up drooling over things you can’t afford to think you can afford. Its Extra line is ultra luxurious — concocted with botanicals, packaged in apothecary-inspired vials or milky white bottles. Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Nourishing Milk is one of its star products, also one of the most expensive. Here in the Philippines, it costs about P5,000+. My jaw dropped in front of their sales associate when he told me. That’s a pretty insane price.

But consider this: it lasted about six months with twice-daily use. Just one drop per day. So that’s around P27.7777778 cost per wear. It was launched sometime before the holidays, in anticipation of all the cracking and flaking faces all over the world will be suffering from because of the weather. We don’t have winter in Manila, but I learned it’s not just good for snow and below zero climates. Truly nourishing, it’s like a soft, white blanket that coats the skin with comfort. I know, sounds pretty vague. I don’t know how else to explain it. It just made my skin look healthier, despite my tendencies towards breaking out big time.

It’s a watery, light-weight fluid that you apply all over the face and neck just before putting on moisturizer (if you still have to). Use it like a serum. It’s an ideal bedtime product — you wake up with dewy skin. But it can also used during the day. It’s not greasy at all.

Pretty bummed about having to save up for another bottle all while effectively adulting. But I got this package from Bobbi Brown Philippines recently and they’re just as good. Review when I empty them.
